Musa
Musa answers a feeling with a painting. You write something like "tired after a long week" or "it's raining and I don't want to do anything", and it picks the painting that says it best out of 200 public-domain works from the Art Institute of Chicago. If it isn't quite right, you ask for another one. Every result has its own link, so you can send someone how you feel as a painting.
Exploring the app
My role
Solo project. The idea, the design and the build: a home with a single question, a result that hangs the painting on a quiet wall as the only colour on screen, and the small things that make it worth sharing, like a link that opens straight on the painting.
Context
It started as a way to try Jev, a new kind of AI model built to choose between options rather than write text. Picking one painting out of a collection is exactly that job. Jev isn't open to me yet, so for now Musa runs on Qwen, and moving it to Jev is a setting rather than a rebuild.
